History of Chocolate Chip Cookies

Article by Lau Verrengia on 24/09/2009 - 12:59 pm 1 Comment

chocolatechipcookie You know how was the famous (and delicious!) American cookie?

He came by chance when small amounts of cake batter were used to test the oven temperature.

Cookie comes from the Dutch "koekje" which means little cake.

The real cookie, crispy outside and soft inside, was also created by chance, accidentally, in early 1930 by Ruth Graves Wakefield in the Toll House in Massachusetts.

In preparing chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chips mixed Ruth (the story goes that chocolate was Nestle) in mass thinking that they would dissolve, but it was not what happened, they kept their shape and very successful.

We will never know if Ruth was the first person to mix chocolate chips in cookies, but it was she who introduced the world famous: Chocolate Chip Cookies .

Americans traditionally accompany the cookie with a glass of pure milk because milk balances the sweet flavor.

I saw there that there is a cookie "giant" that some people replace the birthday cake, maybe? : Whistle:

Who has not done, make the original recipe for this cookie that was published in 1940, is worth it!
